Why We Built Chambeando Recruitment

Chambeando Recruitment started with a word we heard our whole lives: chambeando — pronounced chahm-beh-AHN-doh. In Spanish, it means working, hustling, getting the job done. For us, it became more than a phrase. It was how our family moved through the world, and it’s the heart behind everything we do today.

The Recruiting Journey

Our recruiting journey began close to the work, supporting the people and teams who keep operations moving every day. Over time, that experience expanded into corporate Talent Acquisition, supporting leadership, professional, technical, operational, and bilingual hiring across a range of roles and teams.

Those chapters taught us how to listen to hiring managers, how to advocate for candidates, and how to build processes that respect everyone’s time. Most importantly, they reinforced what we already knew: great hiring is about seeing people clearly and aligning the work with what they do best.

Why Chambeando Exists

Chambeando exists to provide recruiting support that works like it’s part of your own organization. We learn your priorities, your culture, and your expectations, then build a hiring approach that reflects them in every interaction.

Whether we’re helping you fill one key role or supporting ongoing hiring, our goal is simple: to be a trusted extension of your team, doing the work, communicating clearly, and following through until the right people are in the right seats.

Growing Up Chambeando

Where we grew up, chambeando wasn’t just something you did from nine to five. It was a way of carrying yourself. It meant you showed up for your people, you did what you said you would do, and you didn’t expect applause for doing the right thing. You just did it.

We watched parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends all live this out. They didn’t always have the easiest jobs or the biggest titles, but they had something more powerful: pride in their work and a deep belief that your word only matters if your actions back it up.

What Chambeando Means to Us

When we talk about chambeando, we’re talking about four things that shaped who we are and how we work.

Showing up (even when it’s hard)

For us, showing up means being present and engaged throughout the entire process — not just at the start. When you bring us in, we’re committed to the work: responsive, consistent, and there when it matters. We don’t disappear after the kickoff call or go quiet when a search gets difficult.

Following through

We do what we say we’re going to do. If we commit to a timeline, a deliverable, or a next step, we follow through — and if something changes, we communicate it before you have to ask. Clients shouldn’t have to chase their recruiting partner for updates.

Taking pride in your work

Every role we support gets our full attention, whether it’s a high-visibility leadership hire or a critical operations position. We take the work seriously because we know the stakes are real — for the organization, for the hiring manager, and for every candidate in the process.

Earning trust through action

Trust isn’t claimed — it’s built through consistent execution over time. We earn it by delivering quality work, communicating honestly, and treating every interaction as an opportunity to demonstrate that we’re the right partner for your organization.
