Izzy built her career in both agency and corporate recruiting, working with organizations across industries and sizes. Again and again, she saw hiring conversations begin with urgency — open roles, headcount plans, start dates — rather than with a clear picture of the work, the team, and what success would feel like once someone was in the role.
When organizations slowed down enough to talk honestly about their culture, their challenges, and their goals, hiring decisions were stronger and people stayed longer. When they didn't, even well-intentioned searches felt rushed and disconnected from the day-to-day reality of the work.
Chambeando Recruitment grew from that observation. It is a consultancy built on a simple idea: before recommending a search or sending a single resume, take the time to understand the business first — then help shape hiring practices, employer brand, and candidate experience around that understanding.
